Today we went to the Indianapolis Museum of Art and the J. Lily House.
We spent alot of time looking at art from 1300's to modern. European and American (skipped the Asian).
This is a free art museum so, if you are ever in Indy looking for something to do, I'd recommend it.
On the same grounds is the Lily House and gardens. The Lily that bought it from the original owner Landon, was the grandson of Col. Lily that started the pharmaceutical company.
Pretty awesome to be rich that's for sure. The original owner was head of the Indianapolis Water Co. They really promoted the gardens but the house was our favorite.
More picture taking opportunities.
Steve and Ian are going to the U.S. Nationals (NHRA) drag races tomorrow. I am not!
I am going to check out some scrapbook stores though. :o)
They will have to take pictures there.
We'll be heading home Sunday by way of Marion and Wabash and then northwest on home.
It's been a fun week of riding but was happy for a couple of days of "rest".
